So, keep an eye for this sign. If this happens, it means that you need to clean the barrel of your gun as soon as possible. Cleaning a barrel is quite easy so let us have a look at some simple steps to do it.

  • Take a paper towel and use it to wrap around the tip of the rod with which you are planning to clean the barrel.

  • Pick up the rod and insert it into the barrel by inserting the tip with the strip around it first.
  • Rotate the rod around the barrel, all along its entire length and then take it out slowly. All the dirt and debris will be taken out via the strip of the cleaning rod.

Sometimes, with a little use, airsoft guns start getting jammed especially the ones having metallic construction. So, when that happens, you can apply lube on the parts of your gun. In order to do this, you must take out the magazine and empty the hop-up by shooting a few times from your gun so that they projectiles are out.

Then apply lube on the hop-up and let it go deep inside. One other thing you can do is to take out the motor of the gun and then apply lube on the gun. Once the lube seeps in properly, reassemble the gun and your work is done.

Why do Airsoft Guns get Jammed?

Despite good care, sometimes your airsoft guns may get jammed. In order to find a solution to this problem, you must first understand the underlying causes of it. The following can be the reasons your airsoft gun getting jammed.
